This charming ground floor apartment is conveniently located in a quaint narrow lane in the original part of the old fishing village of Lower Largo, 12 miles from St Andrews. 


The view from the lounge looks over to the bridge and the harbour. Within a two minute walk there is a pub, the village shop, a renowned restaurant/hotel, the pier, harbour and beach.


The apartment is suitable for children and pets are welcome.

Lower Largo

The small village of Lower Largo is famous as the birthplace of the real life Robinson Crusoe, whose statue is prominently displayed in the  village. For walkers and cyclists, the Fife Coastal Path passes through the village allowing you to explore neighbouring areas along the coast, with public transport to bring you back.


Lower Largo is a one-hour drive from Edinburgh Airport, while the nearest railway stations are Kirkcaldy and Leuchars. Buses run from Glasgow and Edinburgh to the village. Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh are all within a 1 hour drive.


A well stocked local shop is adjoined to the apartment with further shops and services at Lundin Links all within walking distance. Supermarkets can be found a few miles away in Leven.

Local Area

The East Neuk is an area of outstanding beauty with picturesque villages dotted all along the coast. St Andrews is a delight to visit, including the botanical gardens, Craigton Park, Cinema, Byre Theatre and the Aquarium. Heading back to the East Neuk, you can venture into the Secret Bunker or the Scottish Fisheries Museum. There are several castles open to the public in the summer season and coastal routes give spectacular views.


A golfers paradise, with both The Lundin Golf Club and Lundin Ladies (9 holes) within walking distance of the apartment. The Old Course and other St Andrews courses are a 20 minute drive away, as is Kingsbarns. Within a 30 minutes drive lie a wealth of other wonderful courses at Leven, Crail, Elie, Charleston and many more to suit every level of play and pocket.

The local sports club offers tennis, squash and lawn bowls. An indoor swimming pool with flumes can be found 3 miles away in Leven.
